Default '72-'73 Parts Place Valance

Anyone installed a Parts Place lower valance on a '72-'73 and it fit well? I primed, filled & smoothed the plastic valance manufactured by Parts Place, then when I test fit it to the car, it doesn't bolt up. Lower mounting holes seemed to be shifted off center. I can put in one bolt, but then none of the others line up.

Those of you who have installed this part, what modifications did you make to the part so it would fit properly? Or, is there someone else's reproduction in fiberglass that fits better?

I have found that the top on the sides kicks out when the bottom is bolted in.
This makes a gap on the side at the top. I dont like it.
One reason why used valences still sell.

I had a broken, but decent shape original off my '73, but being young & dumb many years ago, I threw it away thinking I could just buy a replacement.

Any idea how the fiberglass version sold by Classic Industries (OER brand) fits?
