found a nice 72 formula wood grain dash bezel . Now i need the wood grain bezel for the heater,a/c control and the wood grain lighter/defog bezel will need close up pics to make sure it will match what i got

do you need just the wood grain bezel or the actual a/c heat controls with the bezel? i have the controls & lighter bezel i would sell but dont want to remove the bezel from the controls.

heres a couple pics of the ac/heat controls. these are from my 72 firebird that i changed over to the t/a style bezel. there is some fading compared to the 50 year old covered edges, but the color & grain is consistent. rest is in very nice shape & works.

the cig/defrost area of a 72 bezel is a solid part of the bezel, not a separate plate like the later years... unless it changed during the year. but it looks like the pic of the bezel posted above.

yes im aware the lighter bezel isnt removable & mentioned that to him in my PM... but he stated in the initial post that he already found a "nice wood grain bezel." im thinking maybe he bought a later style bezel if it needs the lighter/defrost bezel.

Finding the matching wood gains is almost impossible. That’s why you buy the all the PCs that came from the same set up.

i agree its difficult to match 50 year old parts... but sounds like he's willing to track down a close match for the a/c controls to the dash bezel he already has. now just need to confirm what year his dash bezel is if it has a separate lighter bezel.

& i have the matching dash bezel from this car for sale too. do you have the matching a/c controls for your bezel? if not it will be almost impossible to find the matching wood gains...
