Not quite completed in this pic.

I also have AC, Cable TV, Sat radio, refrigerator, 10'+ sheetrocked ceiling w/commercial 8' lighting, 80gal compressor mounted OUTSIDE in it's own room (so I don't have to hear it run) and copper plumbed air lines throughout with two inline air dryers and an electric air dryer.

I live by the motto "A place for everything and everything in it's place".

It's not as big as I'd like at 20x20, but it's a nice place to be now that I've got heat (60,000 BTU gas heat to get it warm QUICK), blown in the insulation in walls and in attic, I've got air lines running throughout, electric all over the place, slop sink and water coming soon. All painted walls, ceiling and floor. I've got about 750 watts of electric on a separate "daddy only" switch.

Oh, and my door is 17'6'' x 8' so I can get my Jeep or Van in with the Thule box still mounted! ;D

Well, the concrete is always shinier on the other bay, I guess. I love those big, long bays. I'm jealous of the size and the toys too. Then I had a friend over in my garage and he was gushing over the fact that I had 2 bays!

I guess as soon as I move to an area where my monthly TAXES alone are below $1,200 PER MONTH, then I'll use the extra cash to really expand!

Until then, I'm happy with what I have, but love what I'm seeing here! KEEP `EM COMING!

Fast 72, what are the dimensions of your garage, including ceiling height? Can you get a lift in there?

I have been trying to get a garage here for years, but money always prevent it. Perhaps next year...anyway, I am trying to determine exactly what to build, and your setup looks good.

Although, I do like the idea of having a bonus room above, which your style doesn't allow for.

Bull, It's around 30 X 45, ceiling is almost 10ft. I would have to remove a couple of trusses and build a box to use a lift at full height. I went from a two car in town to this and I still don't have room........hmmmmm.

Default Here's another...

The fence that divides the 2 yards is free-standing so i can move it in next to the neighbor's garage to take the car out.

The only thing to be said about that situation is "oy vey!" About right for Brooklyn, eh?

I knew a guy who collected late 60's Caddies who lives in Brooklyn. He said his garage was EXACTLY big enough for one of his cars to fit into -- if parked correctly. No more, no less!

Although I do not have any photos to share I built a new garage this summer and it is 28 X 42 with two foot over hang on the gable and soffit ends with three over head doors plus a side entry door of 42 inches wide. 7/16 sheeted side walls plus Tyvek then vinyl siding with cedar shake gables. Harvest wheat in color (soft yellow creme siding with white cedar shake) hunter green roof, drip edge and white Anderson windows (seven windows all three foot high by four foot wide plus white grills in them that match the over head doors glass. A very attractive building. Floor hoist is next along with over head Gin pole type crane (pivoting wall mounted crane). Residents in the garage are 66 GTO convertible, 67 GTO H.O. hardtop four speed, 99 GTP Grand Prix, 95 Chevy P.U. 4X4 and a 92 Sunbird work car which stays outside or in the hay barn on ocassion.

Default Here is my old barn

I bought the land from my parents back in 87. The existing barn 32X48 and house were shot. I saved the walls of the barn and made a shed out of it. When I built the house I had a drive in basement set up for work in the winter months. Man whata mess. I need to get both of them straitend up since my 68 will be coming home from the body shop soon. I HOPE
