4 lines & 2 words of space used in above to the point factual response, Jon. No speculating or purporting this or that aka BS.

I think this was my source;

eighth listing from the top;
curiously there is no indication of a 70-74 issued 14x6" Rally II;

I realize that using a Master Parts Catalog has it's own perils, and weather or not this application code is correct for '70 model years, just the MPC showing a listing for them would seem to indicate that there was one.

OPH's post seems to suggest this code was in fact used for 1970.

14 x 6 standard rim. Used at least in '74, may have started in '73.

You still haven't stated what the body build date was. Or what PHS showed for a ship date. This rim was assembled by Norris Technologies (NT) or Norris Industries (NI), not Kelsey-Hayes. If you look closely, you will see other numbers stamped by the valve stem hole. C should be the month and EL, the application. A Space Saver I had was a Kelsey-Hayes assembled that was dated in Feb.

There's also a possibility that the stamp which appears as a 'C' was made with a damaged '0' (ZERO) stamp, therefor being part of the numbered date code.

Mike, I’m still trying to guess what these rims are, my pic might of not been the best, there is nothing before that C, no T no m1/3, just that C and the El. I’ll probably have to take the tire off.
