I checked my hood on my 66 there was no indication of any holes on the inside of the hood for the emblem also it has studs to bolt to hinges I’m assuming it’s a 65. I drilled it out with the template posted in the thread.

I would not expect a 65 to have the larger holes on the inner structure. I would expect 66 and 67 Tempest and LeMans to use the same inner structure as the GTO hood.

Apparently the 65 windsplit didn't use the forwardmost hole that the 66 arrowhead emblem used. It did use the same rearward hole (this is the front hole on the 65 - kind of hidden under the secondary hood release), plus an additional hole further back. Sorry for my poor photography skills, but the 65 hood bracing is missing the hole all the way at the front of the hood. My 66 hood still retains the rear most hole in the bracing, behind the "post" for the main hood latch.
