Default 1970 Formula Manual disc brakes master cylinder

This is stamped BE on the end. I took it off 70 Formula many years ago and it still has brackets and valve with it.
I have sold many original parts from this car.
Is this correct for manual disc brakes?

The manual disc brake master cylinder should be an FG code. Here is a picture of one.

That is a power disc brake master.

What is the bore on this? That is the real determining factor.

Looks like 1-1/8 on the bottom next to the numbers.

I would measure the bore with a pair of calipers to be sure.

I'd say it's simply a mis-stamped EB. New guy on the job,...big hang-over. Lots of reasons this could have happened.

I have a 'BE' (with a '2' stamp???) stamped master cylinder that we believe is original to the '71 GT-37.

Pictures of a 1970 Firebird manual disc brake master cylinder (FG code) that I removed from a car a long time ago. Casting date appears to be 157.

Hmmmm. No bleeders on that cylinder. I thought all masters of that vintage had the bleeder screws.

No, there are EBs and BEs. Not really sure what is functionally different as I believe they are both the same casting.

Also FWIW checked with a known '71 non-power disc cylinder and it's stamped XD but also appears identical externally (with bleeder screws).

I have a whole 1970 non power disc master with the plumbing and the valves. I drove this formula at one time long ago. Looks like it should be a FG. No bleeders. I should sell it.
