Lens for license plate lamp
I was going through my '67 LeMans today and was combing over all of the lights. I'm glad to say that I got every single light going, after changing some bulbs and cleaning out sockets, etc.
I discovered that the lens for the license plate lamp is toast. In searching the web, I found that most reproduction pieces do not have the oddly shaped metal shroud over the plastic lens. I'm thinking that it was designed to direct light specifically at the plate and without it, it may light up more than it should and look incorrect. Has anyone replaced theirs and does it make a difference? I'm sure that this lens is original to the car. |

Have piles if others don't come thru.
