Default Backup light switch.

I have a 72 manual trans with 64 tail housing, can I use a 65-67 backup switch? Also the trans has a 72 bellhousing can I use an oem flywheel on my 67 engine.. Not sure if you can mix and match parts. I know this is probably an easy questions for you all, but I need to be certain before I order parts.
Thanks

IMHO it would be easier with the aftermarket BU LT SW.
It utilizes a plunger rather than the small linkage rod, found on OE SW.

If you already have all the OE parts then it's just a matter of setting it up so the function matches the travel of your lever.
You might even need to drill the hole for the small link/rod,
if your linkage mounting lever/tab doesn't have it.

Cheers

Thank you.
I dont have any of the original linkage, so the aftermarket will be perfect..
