Oh man don't tell me that, LOL. I sold the my 197 heads and 455 HO intake when I sold my Wagon last month.

Dennis, I looked for the article on this car for years and never could find it. I wanted to build the twin to this car and never could find out what color it was. I always thought it was dark green but apparently it was bronze.

I hesitate to ask what someone got for their 197 heads, but I also have a set I'm thinking of selling and have little idea of what the current market is like. I never got the intake in the deal, just the heads. If you don't respond, I fully understand.

The heads and intake were still on the 455 in the wagon when I sold it. I traded some 87 cc roundports edelbrocks for the 197s.

Going to Pontiac v8 motivation as well as the 8.5 rear, both new to the X-body for '72 models, seems Pontiac Engineering still knew how to have a little fun
