The flawed 68 Bird 400 window sticker that got me into some trouble. lol
Evidently there are a few of these such examples with the same error.

The 400 option had two price levels.
$358.09 was the cost if it remained a Base 3spd Stick

If you ordered the THM400 or 4spd Trans in addition -
The 400 option price lowered to $273.83

Then from Mike Noun - is the Autumn Bronze Bulletin.
Showing it to be Standard (no upcharge) on Firebirds.

And forgot i had this shot from a dealer color sampler book.
It also has a segment stating Autumn Bronze as a standard color on Bird.
Think that Cammer supplied this shot from his resources.

68 Birds can be tough to get correct price breakdowns.
Several pricing changes throughout the model year.
Even the base price changed at mid-year.

That's great research and information. Thanks BVZ. I figured it was most likely a US serviceman who ordered the car.

He posted a story on it - but it might not be in its own individual thread.
Advanced Search in Judge Section for heater delete would probably pull it up.
Not many , if any , others like it.

I came across the info on the 69 Judge Heater Delete 1 of One

Export car to Aruba.
First owner moved to Holland with the car.
Started a restoration but never finished.
Bought by a Camaro Junkyard in Sweden. (a company)
Storage 15 years in a barn in Sweden .
Bought by PY member Gasman , taken to Norway .

bought a few items for the bird this weekend. The car really needs some gear and I stumbled upon a 68 nodular housing, 4pinon saf-t-track with 3.36 gears for what I thought was cheap. I just need to go through it and verify all is good. Hopefully the next time we take the car to the track, this will be installed.

so my friend, who happens to have written the article, texts me asking if I received the latest Hemmings Muscle Machines. I replied no, unless it's sitting in today's mail. He replies, you are going to need a few copies. Hmmm, I thought. Well, walk out to the mailbox and sure enough, Feb issue of HMM is there. With coverage from the Pure Stock Drags. Walk inside, sit next to the wife and start flipping pages.

Opening page of coverage, nice big shot, there is my wife in the burnout box with the export bird!!!!! GREAT shot.

Coincidentally, buddy who I bought the car from is pictured right above in the blue hemi challenger.

decided to take the firebird to the FAST/Factory Stock Spring Nationals at US131 in Martin, MI this past weekend. Had a friend and his family in from OKC to spectate, but I also let him make a couple passes. The wife and I again split driving duties. I haven't done anything to the car since the Pure Stock Drags. She's slowly learning as she ran a personal best of 14.73 @ 93.
I managed a best of 14.47 @ 95 with a 2.16 60' Considering the car is still sporting a 3.08 open rear I have no complaints. In fact, I was pretty consistent with 2.teen 60'
