PYPES SGF15R Mufflers too loud for my tastes
I have the PYPES 3" stainless kit for a 2nd Gen with DSE Quadralink. Love the setup, but the mufflers are too loud at 2000 rpms. I want to be able to enjoy my stereo. Motor is s 535 making over 700 hp. What do you guys suggest to replace the Race Pros that came with the kit? The kit number was SGF15R IIRC. There is not much room under the car so I need to get something that fits in place of those mufflers.

If you had room for a 20" case (but sounds like you do not) I would go with the Dynomax Ultra Flow. I am afraid you will find the 14" Ultra Flow a little too loud for a decent stereo experience, which is what I have now behind a 600hp setup.
The 14" Dynomax Super Turbo would definitely quiet things down while providing reasonable flow. Had them in a 500hp 66 gto with 2.5", Ram Air manifolds and H pipe. Almost too quiet at times, but I am sure the 3" muffler with your setup would be a little louder. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

I need a center to offset 3" on both sides that is 14" long. Preferably stainless like the Race Pros I have now. If I could get rid of the drone at 1800-2200 rpms I'd stick with what I have.

you will lose the flow advantage of a straight through muffler design like the race pros or ultra flos, but the dynomax super turbo mufflers are probably your best option for a quieter exhaust. they arent stainless but the aluminized coating looks good & lasts a long time.
