Is expecting to be reimbursed for shipping out of line?
Is expecting to be reimbursed for shipping out of line?
Lets say you order something, and it doesn’t fit your application. Catalog says it should fit, lists it as fitting….But it doesn’t….. Vendor doesn’t have an alternative….. No custom parts here – or possible variances on the vehicle This is a reproduction part that clearly is not manufactured to the same dimensions as the stock part. Is it out of line to want to be able to return it and get a full refund – part plus all shipping? |

Yes I absolutely agree that they should reimburse some or all of the shipping costs!

No, it's not unreasonable to expect them to cover it if it's their fault you want to return it.
One thing I like about Amazon. You want to return something, they email a UPS label. You print it out, tape it to the box and give it back.

Return shipping should be on the seller if seller cannot supply a usable item.
