Default Nice 67 GTO 8 Track Player

Took this 67 GTO 8 track player in trade a couple of months ago. The guys father bought it to put in a 65 GTO and never got around to it, passed away and the son pulled it from the attic with it wrapped in 1969 dated newspaper and in a cardboard box. I didn't test it as I assume at least the belts are totally dried out and am sure it needs serviced. Has excellent chrome, black plastic is mint, knobs/bezels are all correct and it includes a mint intermediate harness. $400.00 plus shipping.

Looks just like the one a guy was selling on Facebook in Portland Oregon in February.
Guys name was Matt. Sold it to me and then said he sold it locally to someone else. Man was I pissed at him.
Good luck with your sale Bob

Probably the same one but I took it in trade from a guy in Salem, 50 miles South, for some engine parts and a set of heads he had been eyeing.

It doesn't matter where it came from or how it was aquired, that is one damn nice piece. Good luck with the sale.

I guess he didn't have the very rare and 8 track only vent. I've been thinking about reproducing that piece. Some years back, I sold a 67 am/fm and 8 track. Both worked well, but I didn't have the vent when I sold it, and promised to find one. i never did so 1 year later the guy wanted his money back. Of course I returned his money because in that short time those pieces had escalated in price.

Or the back support strap, Andre. I think the strap usually got tossed and many didn't notice the vent, I found one in a wrecking yard a few years ago, car was stripped but the vent was there.

Bob,

If you still have that vent (heater outlet) I’ll take it also.

Thanks, Chris
