1963 GP 421HO ????'s
I tried searching this out, got conflicting info, even on this site
  . 1963 GP 421 engine combos. I've seen 2 and/or 3 different horsepower combinations. Which are 421 HO's. What are the engine codes, some sites show 3 engine codes, others show multiple engine codes depending on motor, trans, and rearend gears. Last ?, how to ID a HO vs non HO.thanks Gregg |

All 421 HO engines in ‘63 and ‘64 had the 9770716 heads, so that may help you to weed out the non-HO engines.

Non HO engines with heads that have smaller valves and less cam and CR.HOs got 10.75 CR.Tom
