Default 1963 GP 421HO ????'s

I tried searching this out, got conflicting info, even on this site. 1963 GP 421 engine combos. I've seen 2 and/or 3 different horsepower combinations. Which are 421 HO's. What are the engine codes, some sites show 3 engine codes, others show multiple engine codes depending on motor, trans, and rearend gears. Last ?, how to ID a HO vs non HO.

thanks

Gregg

Believe it's the Super Hydra-Matic transmission.
(375 was the Roto Hydra-Matic)

All 421 HO engines in ‘63 and ‘64 had the 9770716 heads, so that may help you to weed out the non-HO engines.

I did see these block id's, a few more with 3.90 gears, and 3sp stick. I just read an article I found in a 18 year old PE magazine. No mention of a 320hp 421, just the 353 and 370hp version. Could the 320hp be a big car motor, just not in a GP.

is this on the 2 center exhaust ports

My reason for inquiring is Im looking at a gP 421 4spd, 4 barrel. Manifold and carb is missing but has been replaced with 3x2
