69 Firebird Fold Down rear seat fastener description/photo request.
Good morning all, I have a fold down rear seat in our 69 Firebird and I had sent out the original hinge shoulder bolt and screws for factory correct re-plating and apparently they are now MIA. Can someone give me accurate measurements of the shoulder bolt that the release latch holds onto. This should be if memory serves me correctly a 3/8-16” X ? (shoulder diameter and length) and if you could also provide a clear photo of the head of the bolt. I will machine one if I need to if I cannot purchase locally. I believe the side (hinge arm) screws were self-tapping ¼” hex head sheet metal screw type. Can someone verify the fasteners on their fold down rear seat back, the fasteners that hold the linkage arms to the seat back, three on one side, two + the shoulder bolt on the other. Wanting to replace/install factory correct. I looked in the AMES catalog but see nothing available. Thank You.

Hi Tim,
Hope this helps. Shoulder Bolt head mic's to 0.725 inch (and uses 5/16 hex key) Shoulder Bolt shoulder mic's to 0.48 inch Machine screw hex top uses a 3/8 inch wrench Pics should tell you the rest. Let me know if you need anything else quickly because I'd like to put this stuff away.
