Default Proportioning valve intel...

Just wondering if there is any way to test the OE cast style ones......and or any service procedure?

I realize that replacements can be had.....in brass....but prefer the original look...

Sure.

You could create a bench set up to provide pressure.

Measure line pressure "in", then measure "out" for both front and rear systems.

You are looking to capture "meter" (the hold off pressure before rears are activated, or the "split" point) and then the slope of both the front and rear pressures as a percentage of the input.

For what specific model year and vehicle? I have the GM brake system engineering charts back to 1969 and can tell you what the correct answer should be.
