Airborn Coatings suggests the following for maintenance of their Aluminum/Ceramic coatings:
Clean with shop rag and an available cleaning solution (stoddard solvent, mineral spirits, carb. cleaner, etc.). Then wipe down with an aluminum polish/cleaner on a clean soft cloth. Only use a paste or polish type cleaner (ie Mother's Mag Polish, Blue Magic, Extreme, Metal Magic). If necessary you can use steel wool or a gray scotchbrite to remove any stubborn stains. Then use a soft cloth and polish. DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF SPRAY CLEANER WHICH MAY CONTAIN CAUSTIC SOLUTIONS. Again, that is suggested by Airborn Coatings. Jim Hand |
