REAR WINDOW SURROUND PATCH!!!!!
everyone fixing up and old 66-67 if not all the years has this area that needs repair work done. i would love to get the whole part or at leat the lower portion reproduced

Do you mean this piece? Lower rear window channel forward of trunk lid?

i meant more up the sides, my rear panel like that is in decent condition, but the corners of the window chanel up of the pillar area arent in good shape

I used Dynacorn part #'s
Filler panel = D11#1545 Small piece of each, Chevelle parts Driver wing = D11#1475AX Pass Wing = D11#1475BX Worked out OK. Charles |

Oh, and put drains in those corners.
I used copper tubing and brazed them in place. Rubber hose down throught the flat area over the axle. Some people go into the wheelwell. |

Very impressive Charles!,..Did you flare the end of tubing and drop into hole?,..The stitch welding tacks I'm sure were staggered until solid,..did the patch butt into a flanged joint or butt straight into the adjoining parent metal?,...Very Nice Work!!

Yes I did flare the tubing.
Butt welded the little patches all around. Came out very satisfactory. Thanks for the compliments. Charles |
