Default Chris Beierling's 1931 Pontiac Headed to Mecum Kissimmee

Our dear departed friend Chris Beierling's 1931 Pontiac will be crossing the auction block on Saturday, January 4th. Bid early and often, it would be great to keep this car in the community.

Yes his wife had posted about it earlier,
https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=836370.

Hemmings did a plug as well,
https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds...d/2345521.html

I too hope it ends up in the hands with someone who has as much passion as Chris did about Pontiacs and/or the OHC 6.

It has a number of features not listed by Mecum. I particularly like the front finned backing plates which look great with the finned Buick drums. Some company in Texas made them- I think they quit making them a long time ago.

Cool One of the BEST Features, IMHO

Fitment of Engine.

Early Choice on Air Breathers.

The Detailing is Awesome.

Overhead.

Final choice Utilized Old School Screened Breather Caps.

I had a chance to really check this car out at Norwalk when it was first finished as it was parked near our pit area. If you are into street rods, Pontiac's and the wonderful, ground breaking OHC engine, what better combination could there be? The little details throughout the car are just beautiful. Runs and sounds great. Hope it brings big bucks and lands in a Pontiac lover's garage.

Hopefully someone from the Pontiac community gets and appreciates it for what it is. Not some money laden motor head wannabe who will just throw an LS Swap at it.

Oh no doubt one of us will be posting the results.
It goes across the block Saturday January 4th so it should get some good attention.

Someone got a good deal for a turnkey non-cookie cutter rod.

I would agree with that. Plenty of street rods out there, but really how many times would you come across something like this?
