Pontiac in 61 Buick Electra 225
Anyone know what it would take to install a 65 or later Pontiac V8 in a 1961 Buick Electra 225? Thanks, Nathan

I would use a later trans, t350 or t400 or ever better OD. I have never seen a Pontiac in a Buick but the cars are similar so it shouldn't be too hard. I installed a Pontiac 455 in a 1961 Chevy PU using a mixture of Chevy and Pontiac parts and didn't have to fab anything. Good luck.

You know how the Electra 225 was often called the "Deuce and a Quarter?" Just a thought here: wouldn't it be neat to run a tri-power Pontiac in one and call it "Three Deuce and a Quarter?"

You will not be able to easily use the Buick Dynaflow.

You would not want to use that dynaflow anyway those things were VERY heavy all steel and a conv. for one would cost a small fortune today I bet-----BOB
