Interesting car, although I don't get the hearse reference - it's just a regular Safari.

We didnt have a Superior type of works here to build hearse bodys so they used to use normal Chev & Pontiac or a few imported Ford wagons instead. Rip the rear interior out & sheet it with polished stainless. Very common back then.
Then the body builders started stretching Holdens & local Ford wagons a few feet & using those instead as it was much cheaper.

I will never buy a wagon here because 9/10 have had dead people in them.
