If memory serves me correctly, that scoop was not a shaker, and the back of it contained a digital (LED?) tachometer. The road test indicated you couldn't read it well in the daytime. One thing of interest about this car. This car was built in calender year 1978 and featured an 8.5 inch rearend. However, the rearend in the A & G bodies were all 7.5 inch until the Buick GN and Olds models in the mid 1980's.

Hey Thanks. Too bad I won't be getting plates for it. Iowa won't state the original 50,000 on the tilte. Guess I'll be towing it to a lot of parades.

Take a picture of the milage indicator and send it in with the title application. Then attach a note that says something to the efect that if there is any more doubt, call your lawyer and include his/her number. It might help if a State Trooper verified the mileage too.
