I have a 68 FB that has lowered 1.5" in the front and 1" in the back. I want to get X-Pipes, but I am worried about clearence. This is a street car and I will have 3" pipes. Am I gong to be scraping over every bump in the road?

Shouldn't. I have a 3" X-Pipe system on my 68 Convertible. Tailpipes and all. You're going to have to be very patient and particular about fitting the pipes. I have mine tucked up real tight and clearances between the pipes, and everything else, is close. It fits real well. Take your time and patience, patience, patience.

Rick, how did you get 3" pipes to fit under the floors without creating ground clearance problems? Are you running the X right along the driveshaft tunnel? Do you have any pics?
