Im looking for a sensor I can mount near my carb, to measure air flow?air speed? not sure what to call it, mabe even an o2 sensor for altitude? I need this sensor to plug into one of the ports on a Data logger. any ideas

The largest Mass air meter from Pro M may not be
big enough for your deal in front of the carb. A couple of 90mm Ford Lightning type mass Air meters would provide the flow and as a rough guess you could double the airflow reading you got from the data logger for one meter. The Mass air meter needs very precise voltage in order to work correctly. I would talk to Pro Mass about your needs Ray! They might even sponsor you for the parts and the electronics. Talk to Gonsales at Pro M. Tell him Tom Vaught from Ford talked to Frank about this. Tom V.

This may sound dumb on my part but couldn’t you use a pressure sensor(s)? If the pressure were lower than a previous change then it would have a negative effect apposed to a pressure increase would indicate a positive change? Of course this is assuming that you would want to get the greatest amount of filling of air in to your scoop(s). Looking for a trend so to speek.

Couldn't you use a MAP sensor to record the changes?Just a thought .
