I am about to apply new judge stripes to my 69' I have the assembly manual which shows the measurents and all. My question is, all the measurments are in decimals (i.e. 4.10). I assume that those are inches, however whats the best way to measure the decimal (.10)? Do you just get it close to about 1/8th in? Is there a ruler with inches and decimals? I want them placed correctly so any info is apprciated. Thanks

bout the only thing you can do is convert it to inches. (i.e. .5"x16=8) or 8/16 = 1/2

In your example, the .1 is actually closer to 1/16", I believe.

My initial thought is to use a caliper that comes in inch decimals. The photo is from the Sears catalog. They might even sell rulers in inch decimals too.

Dont let the caliper prices above scare you away, Sears has inexpensive ones too for around $20.

Thanks SlowGTO, I thought of the calipers after I made the post too. Thanks for the input.
