Just purchased my 1st 74 ventura,cloning it into a GTO. Car already has a 350 pontiac,plan on swaping with a 455. I need too know what sized tires i can put on it front/back planning on pro*stars. With mickey tompsons MH's On the back, can anybody tell me whats the biggest tire i can run on the back? Secondly: What intake will fit underneath the scoop will the victor jr. or tourque 2 fit? THX Your input is appreciated ...

Tires:
With a 15x8 wheel 5.5 backspacing you can fit a
275/60, 295/50, 28x9 or 28x10.5 with stock wheel wells and shocks in stock location.

If you move the shocks in and minor massaging of the wheel wells you can fit all the above and a 28x10.5 or 325x50 or smaller radial on a 15x10 wheel with 6.5 bs.

If you mini tub and relcoate the springs you can use the 15x10 wheel and a 29.5 x10.5 or 315/60 or smaller radial.

If you then, notch the frame rails and install after market mini tubs you can fit a 29.10.5W tire.

My torker II and a 2 in spacer put my holley sitting level with the hood, I had to pin a shaker to the hood for clearance, I'm not sure yet if the victor will fit or not.
