Been there / done that. I lost a real orange 69 Judge in my divorce. I tried to buy it back from her (like buying it twice) but she refused to sell it back to me. She ended up selling it to her sister who trashed it out.

I think it's a bogus ad. Seller acts like she doesn't know what a Judge is, but is savvy enough to make the title of the ad a take off of the “Here comes da Judge’ slogan. I think it's a real ad as far as the car goes, but not likely a divorce sale. If it is real, I hope the attorney for the husband notes the defamatory language in the ad and sends an immediate cease and desist, and then files a libel action. I would not immediately specify damages, but you can bet they would be in excess of whatever the car sells for.

Love that blower look.
The divorse story seems like BS to me. |

Sounds like a good ploy to get it circulated around car boards.

I know this car very well. It is supposed to be a real Judge, but it has a Chevy engine. Back in 2001 it was for sale on a used car lot in Pasadena, Texas. My daughter and son-in-law bought it for $17k. They no more got it home than the drivers side ladder bar broke off from the axle tube. When I crawled underneath, I found the ladder bars were CHEAP HOMEMADE pieces of CRAP. Someone had done a terrible job of welding them together and to the axle tube. I'm surprised the other side didn't break too. The bodywork wasn't too great either, and, yes, that is a '68 front bumper. The guy wouldn't take it back, so we cancelled the check and about a week later he came and got it. Then it was for sale at the Houston Autorama auction in 2001 or 2002, but didn't sell. Then in 2003 it showed up at our club's car show, still in the Houston area. It was on ebay last year, but I don't know if it sold or not. There are several pics on the Ultimate GTO Picture Site, shown as being in NY:
[URL=http://ultimategto.com/1969judcars26.htm] and now it's in AZ? Look at the pic of the differential and you will see where the ladder bar was welded back to the axle tube and repainted. My advice, stay away from this P.O.S., unless you happen to be partial to "Tangerine" frame and suspension parts.

Also notice the LeMans/Tempest rubber gaskets between the front fenders and bumper. Should be on chrome bumper cars only. Easy way not to have to work very hard aligning the bumper!

The center console and shifter also looks like a 68.
