No loose, liquid, sandbags, rocks, shot bags, metal weights, etc, ballast allowed in car. These items (excl. liquid) must be contained in NHRA approved ballast box. Construction; 8" wide x 12" long x 8" high, min. thickness .125. Tops must be held on with min. 6 - 5/16" bolts 2 boxes permitted. Mounted to frame with min. 2 - 1/2" bolts each. Tip; All those old pop cans, 2 litre bottles (half drank), tools, jackets, hats, 1/2 drank water bottles, fifths, moonshine jars, well ya know, all these are considered loose ballast and grounds for disqualification. Clean up your act!

BIGGERISBETTER-15 yrs in NHRA tech ret. 1977 400 .030, RPM E-Take, Q-jet, 6X, 3650lb. 78 Catalina,14.50's.

I appreciate that, thanks. Seems I've only retired to get busier, This little bit helps me feel like I'm giving something back to the sport, since all I do now, at the track, is try to take more with my right foot. Ya dig man!$$$$$ GRoovy
