Looking for some connections in the Hobby in the new england area. I should Have my lemans back soon from the Wifes Uncle soon when hes done with the Modifications. I really dont know anyone into Musclecars anymore Except my brother
and he lives in FLA. IM in CT and Just Trying to find out about where the Good Machine shops
Apolstery and all that are.

I would even join a Club. I was a member of one Pontiac Club but It never got off the ground. I Posted some questions in thier forum and After 6 months no response. So I gave up.

Any way Ill be Up for Cruising and Shows Once I get my Baby back. The paint Aint the best But shes drivable and Thats all that matters! Best Part is when I get her back She will have all new SHocks, Springs, brakes, a detroit locked 4.11 rear with upgraded axles and Studs. Last but not least a Full Boxed Hotchkiss Set up on the rear with a 1.00 inch hotchkiss swaybar. Planning on swapping in a 2nd gen 1.5 inch sway bar from a camaro or firebird. Should handle like a rocket. The Front ends only got about 70,000 on it and is still tight.

Thanks Im long winded I hope to make some contacts atleast. Thanks again.

I'm in New Milford. I hang out w/Goatless and the infamous Phil ( 6567GTO ). Wish you had spoken up sooner, could have used more Poncho help to assemble my lift rather than resorting to some bowtie friends; LOL.

Here is a link to special interest for some local cruise/show info.
http://www.specialinterest.com/siv_events_q.cfm

Hemmings also is a great source for events.
http://www.hemmings.com/index.cfm/fu...on/events.main

Tristate car club site is also helpful
http://www.tristatecarclubs.com/home.htm

Carlquist competition engines is a good machine shop in Waterbury ( I know Schoust used them, along with Phil for the dyno tuning ).

We frequently attend track rentals at Lebanon Valley Dragway so we will 'put you on the list' to get out and stretch your legs on the track when we next go. MusclePalooza ( chk events forum ) is shaping up as a great somewhat local event.

It's good to see all these CT guys on here! I've noticed several new guys on here that are local, some I'd already met in real life not just internet land.

Watch out for Jim and Phil, they're a little funny...

And Frank, well....

Oakville, (a section of Watertown.) NW of Waterbury

Carlquist Competition Engines is in Oakville (Watertown) on Falls Ave. Great guy to deal with. Claims to be a long time Pontiac guy. I was happy with the work he did for me

Frank R., where in Watertown? I'm over near Polk School. Is that a ragtop Goat?

Stephen, I'm by Taft School. My 68 that you see is a hardtop. I'm in the middle of a frame up on a 67 GTO Convertable. Carlquest did the engines for both my GTO's. Goatless, how did your car run with the 3:55's

Frank, I haven't put it in yet. I'm going to try to get it in before I go down to VA for Pontiacs in the Park.
