Anyone see the '70 Judge thats on Ebay right now.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...523757775&rd=1

As of $19,100 it still hasn't met the reserve.
Looks like original #'s matching cars are getting a lot harder to find.

I had my Judge for sale on this board about a month ago for $20,000.MY JUDGE Looks like I would've got my asking price if I put it on Ebay cause mine is nicer than the car listed on there now.

Is it because of the location or the fact that it is a 4-speed that '70 Judges are getting this kind of attention? James, both your car and the one listed have blue interiors, I would think it would hold down the value a little. I've been thinking of selling my Judge (Atoll Blue, black interior, automatic) for $15,000, to redo two other '70 GTOs. But, as long as it's paid for, why?

I may be mistaken, but isn't tom s (from here) "ravta" on ebay? Last time I saw, ravta bid up to $18,100. CA is a long way from this car. Was your car as original as this car R 70?

Doug, "ravta" lives in IA. And he has (or had) a RAV in a '69 TA, also. He is a nice guy (I won't post his name unless he wants me to).

its an original RAIII car, yet it has the RAIV flapper control under the column?

wasnt that cable control limited to the IV cars, or could it have been ordered with the RAIII?

Costs too much , you are kidding right? All Judges except 71's had that Ram Air flapper control knob . That was standard on The Judge and optional on GTO's.

As far as originality goes it's a toss up. That car has the original carburetor. My car has the original wheels. Other than that I think they are very similar. Although I feel my car is in better overall condition.

Okay, I'm getting my people confused. IA=GD maybe?

Anyway coststoomuch also posted last week that he knows someone that ordered (and received) from the factory, a 428 '68 gto. Dealer maybe.

no, I wasnt joking. I had a brain fart.

I must have been confusing the pull cable with the different pans. The RAIV pans had the dual thermacs while the RAIII had the single. Unless I'm farting that as well. So I thought the IV's only had the cable.

deeeerrrrrr......

I talked with the guy, Jim, really nice fellow been buying, restoring and selling for 35+ years.
The $28,000 was with a bunch of NOS parts, other price without. Keep in mind the car is original except for waterpump and starter.
Plug wires down to hose clamps all original driveline, shocks, rad. tag plate, I was told.
I bought 68 GTO conv with 33xxx miles that was all original except for one hose. Needed resto but still more of thrill than numbers matching car. You dont see many "original" PLUS #'s matching GTO's out there, but a Judge is even more desireable. Still would have to look at it, though...
