#1 stnd.bore 78400,6x#4,summit2801.cc1.5 rockers,rpm intake,750edel.carb,msd6,msd billet dist,hooker comp headers,fresh rebuild,valvejob,resurfaced heads(cleanup)?sealed power oil pump.built by a shop in the toledo area.
1-how will this perform in a 78 4spd,TA,3:42? 2-the engine is on a stand,the car is currently at a shop being repaired,can motor sit for awhile till the car is ready?its covred in plastic! 3-the zbar and headers any problems here??engine will be installed on open subframe! 4-cooking the oil-seems the oilfilter adapter will be close to headers! checkout my car>>www.prorestorations.com 78ta a 32K miles car,i put in a cornfield unfortunatly! engine will be fine on a stand. May check into remote oil filter.

its ok i run headers on my 77 and oil filter is located in same stock location, and all is well.
If you want to look into an oil cooler. Headers on my car arent that tight around the filter to be honest with ya. Mike |

All depends on the headers. On my 77 TA, I could turn the filter but it would not fit between the frame and the headers/block. I had to take them loose to change the filter.
The Z-bar was a Bit*h! Should run high 13's low 14's depending on traction and tuning. |
