As part of my suspension rebuild, I am toying with the idea of installing a set of 2" drop spindles on my '78 Lemans. I've never lowered a car before, and am just looking for guidance in general with my plan. I also am leaning towards installing Eibach lowering springs that drop the front by 1" and the rear by .8". Now, will that give me a 3" drop in front (2" spindles, 1" springs) or does it not work that way? Also, how can I make the rear even if the Eibach springs only lower it less than an inch and the front is coming down more than that...I don't want that "raked" look.

Finally, I am wondering whether these types of modifications are too much for a daily driver (even in winter). Will I be lowering the car to the point that speed bumps will be an issue, or are my plans not radical enough for that? I plan on running a 15" tire in summer, 14" in winter, if that matters.
