Lightbulb Decided on Burgandy Paint: need to see pics of dif. shades of burgandy GTOs for ideas

Alright, reason why I am posting this thread is after many problems and financial issues, the 67 GTO is FINALLY going into the bodyshop to get the bodywork started. I plan on having paint done while it is there... and it's definately going to be a good show-quality job.

I definately am going with a burgandy for the basecoat AT least. Would like to get ideas of different shades of burgandy on a GTO...looking for more of a darker "wine-like" hue of burgandy.

Please post up your pictures of your Burgandy GTO's with the paint chip color and number so I can come to a decision!!!!! Help a young Ponti-Yacker!!!

My interior color is a burgandy that was made by shooting the match on the red seat covers and door panels made by PUI. I dont know if it is correct but I like it.

Here is my 69 GTO in Burgundy Metallic. Paint code 67. Color was matched to the factory color on the inside of the cowl. It is Sikkens base/clear.

Here are a few photos of a '67. This is supposed to be a direct match to the original color for this car. In the shade or on cloudy days it looks dark, but in bright direct sunlight it brightens up as shown. I don't have the code in front of me but can get it for you if desired. It is a Base/clear.

That''s a tad light for me...I'm looking for a shade that is a lot darker...almost a purple mixed in with red...kind of like the factory color..

It is a Sherwin Williams mix. I can get you the formula code if you wanted it.

To add to this thread: I'm also leaning toward burgundy on my goat, which is a '69. I'd love to see some more pics of 68/69 burgundy goats (other than the few at UltimateGTO.com that I look at twice a day 7 days a week).

Especially like to see a few with vinyl tops???

Here is my 67. It is painted with PPG BC/CC burgundy using their 1967 pontiac code book.
