Default Need GM weatherstripping part numbers

I am interested in buying the GM door, window and trunk weatherstripping for my 72 T/A. Does anyone have the part numbers? My dealer isn't too cooperative in researching the numbers. Thanks, NJSteve

The GM part numbers 9612540 and 541 say they are outer window sealing strip with chrome bead. Would this be the correct outer window felt for my 72 which has the outer stainless molding on the top of the door? Anybody have a photo of what this looks like? The ones on my car are aftermarket pieces with no chrome strip and are nicely riveted on (note sarcasm here).

NJsteve,
The 540 and 541 part numbers are for the cars with the "decor" package - the chrome along the base of the side glass, tops of the rear fender edge and trailing edge of the hood. The part numbers for non-decor cars are;
9612538 - RH
9612539 - LH
Unfortunately my car is a base car, so no pictures. The base car sealing strips have the little chrome bead that is about the diameter of a coat hangar wire.

Here's a photo of my car. So you are saying the 540 and 541 would be the right ones for my car even though GM describes them as "window felt with chrome bead"?

9612540 and 541 are the parts that you want. Your car clearly has the "decor" package. I will attach a photo of Bill Nelson's '70 without the decor package (best closeup shot I could find). This car would take the 538 and 539 part numbers.
