Rear CoilOvers for 67 GTO
Has anyone reading put a set of coilover shocks on the rear of a 66/67 GTO? I'm wondering if a) it is possible to do, b) if I'll see any better handling out of the rear suspension, and c) if anyone out there makes a kit. Any info would be appreciated. James D.

Requires some mods but this is a QA1 system installed on a 67 goat. Not sure I am happy with it. To raise the rear end I tightened up the springs and they dont give much protection against speed bumps etc. Looking for ideas to raise the body yet keep the springs.

Dude, your frame is like bent all to h3ll in the back. Right where the center bumper brace goes.
You need to check that out. |

Not bent anymore, anyway it was only slightly bent. Looks worse in the pic than really was. That V is there to handle the filler neck for the gas tank.

STI, I am interested in this setup. Where did you buy them? About how much were they? Thanks for the info and pic. James D.
