Sorry about that. I read code 511 and assumed power drum. Looking at column 50, it clearly states power steering and disc brakes.

Paint thinner did the trick I used my wifes cookie pan. I let it sit for 5 minutes then did it again. After I was done I put the sheet between two paper towels and let it dry and it came out great as you can see. I did swish the pan a periodically

The laquer thinner trick will not do anything to get the rust out... I have yet to find anything that will (without destroying the build sheet).
I have experimented EXTENSIVELY with different chemicals, solvents, to try to remove the rust stains from build sheets. Experimentation is what led to my discovery of the fast laquer thinner technique described above. I could not read the build sheet that I found in a 70 Judge Conv and I had an old lemans build sheet that was stained from the tar sound deadener... I tried multiple solvents until I got frustrated and poured cheap laquer thinner over a corner and low and behold the build sheet came clean like it had been through the wash.

Bruce, yours must be a Pontiac plant car? Sheet 1 under the sound deadener and sheet 3 above the gas tank?

Thanks Mike. I just hope I find it when I start tearing her apart.

Maybe the guys at Napa might know. After all, it's part of the good stuff, isn't it? Cheers M.
