Default 84 sunbird dies and keeps going!

Ok, I have a 1984 Sunbird convertible as my daily driver. The car has >300K miles but the engine has ~10K. Recently it started cutting out on me.

I will be driving down the interstate @ 65mph for ~20 minutes or so and the engine will die. No check engine lights, no oil/temp lights nothing looks odd. Radio, wipers etc keep going. Then, the car will start running again and everyhting is ok. (without me restarting it)
This happens everyday. This also happens ~5 miles after exiting the highway.
I can stop at a red light and there is no problem...usually.

I replaced the cap and rotor, then the fuel injector.
I dont think it is the fuel filter, since once they get dirty, they dont let you go any more.

Maybe catalytic converter? Distributor seems tight.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
