I don't know about this outfit - but I haven't seen any cheaper. I bought a set and they DO NOT fit 1.6 rollers. I paid more than this also.

I'm thinking about these covers too ,
read that rollers fit but have to be trimmed not to hit the bulge at the bolt hole,, seen them on a motor with HS rollers on it , do they fit ?
there cheaper here ----

www.krepower.com under new products has some nice sheet metals. www.strelkabuilt.com makes some really nice ones.

KRE is Kauffman Racing Equipment, who have invested hugely into Pontiac racing. Strelka has been around a long time and also is Pontiac...

my bad ,I was refering to the cost between BOP and the Gm covers for jwcfbd
I've seen the Strelka on a friends of mine car , polished ,there are the best .
I'm on the fence ,I like the shorter looking covers .Bulters have shorter covers too 2 3/4 in ,I think

Thank you for the patronage, we do appreciate it. And the $ go back into Pontiac part R & D! Keep in mind that the difference is not that much, GM Parts direct charges almost $30 for shipping!

As far as fit with roller rockers, every engine is different. These covers have the same inside height as stock so you can use that as a test fit. We also carry 1/4 inch thick gaskets and 3/4 inch thick spacers.

Scorpions and HS rockers need trimming. Most SS have a smaller pushrod cup area that they fit.Not sure about stamped stock rockers. I'll have to go see if they fit my shaft.

That's good to hear. Both times I've ordered from you guys I've been very happy. Did you guys stop making the waterpump/timing chain housings or am I thinking of someone else?

Is it just the 1.65 rollers that won't fit without mods? Or is it the 1.5's also?

The "GM" Pontiac cast covers are std height without baffles.
I just put them on E-hd's with 1.65 rollers(H.S.) and raiv gskts.
Had to grind down the 2 upper bolt bosses to clear arms.
How much, not sure. It's trial and error.
I'll find out if i did enough when i fire it up this weekend

I don't know about the rest but the "PONTIAC" covers do not have baffles.
