Very nice Dave, looks like you put a lot of work into that beauty. Post some pictures when it's compleated.

Looks great. I am a week away from paint on my car. What are you expecting to run in that beast?

Looks nice. Are those tires 295/65/15 or 315/60/15? I have mini tubbed my bird and I used to use the 295s, but want to see if the 315s will fit.

I was going to run 15 x 10.5 wheels as I need 7.5" backspacing so that the tires fit under the car.

Thanks everyone.
Ron H, I have a problem too much car too little motor. I really over did the project from my original plans. But once we started I couldn't stop. This motor I hope will run low 12's, I plan on a motor swap in the fall.

The tires are 325-50-15 from Mickey Thompson 3757R. They measure 14 inches wide. The wheels are 15x10.

My friend took some better picture I attached a few. Dave

Most people have too much engine and not enough car so you are not in a bad situation by any means. Good to see you added the bar being a convertible. Most people are not as safe with them.
What engine is in it now?

Yeah centerline makes them in a 10.5 wide wheel and then weld makes them with a 10 wide wheel. By having this backspacing with the second gen rearend that I got a killer deal on that is as built as you can get a 12 bolt I will be able to tuck the tires inside of the rear quarters instead of being even with the outside.

After seeing how those 325s look on yours Dave I may have to rethink the 315s which are 29.6" tall and look into the 325s as they are only 28" tall and I wont have to worry about the tires coming into possible contact with the quarters.

In post #8 pic 3 it looks like you have competition engineering ladder bars. Is this correct? If they are could you possibly get me some more pictures of how you mounted them as I am in the process of doing mine now? I also like how your shocks attach to the backside of the plate.

I am running 30 x 10.5 x 15" Radial slick without issue and no mods to the quarters or wells. These slicks don't grow much if at all.

Ron, the motor is a 406 I purchased from Alex Brooks (WARPED) brother. They had it in a 4 door Ventura.

Robert, It is a competition engineering ladder bar set up. I'll take more pictures of the rear and post them tomorrow

. I'll post a few more pics. Dave
