I've done a few of them over the years. I have one on my '72 and I built one for my sister on her '70. Is was a lot of work to get them to fit, etc but to reap the benefits all these years is well worth doing it. better braking, less nose dive, better cornering, etc, etc.
good luck with it

I used one on my restoration. It fit very well. We had to make some tabs for bolt on stuff. I had the body shop to run a small piece of angle steel just inside the top lip all the way across the top. They glued it in and smoothed it up so it looked thick like a stock bumper and it really made it stiff. Without it, you could place you hand in the top inside part of the bumper and with a little weight, it would flex.

I used one on Milts 70 Judge racecar, overall the finish and quality was alright. The biggest issue I had was the nose was a 1/4" too narrow on each side. I split the sides and glassed the gaps. The sides could have been built up but the top ridge wouldn't have lined up.

Not much to bolt too .looks like it will be some challenging engineering to try and attach brackets and lights ....It would Be nice to get some advise and pics from someone whos done this before....

Has anyone given thought to the lack of protection in a head on collision with a fiberglass front bumper? It's basically just a plastic shell to hold your grills & headlights, nothing more.

I had a 'glass bumper on a 71 TA years ago and while there's benefits to the lighter nose, the thought of some jagg off crossing the centerline in front of me & using my car as a crumple zone made me nervous as heck every time I drove the car. The original endura would offer more protection & likely reduce the damage to both the car & my body. There's still plenty of original bumpers out there, they usually need work but probably no more than making the 'glass unit work.

I don't think I'd want a glass front bumper on anything but a race car.

Gave it thought ,Doesnt bother me , Also I have the original endura, Here is the situation the piece looks atleast 1/2 " shorter in overall length . Dont think I can move fenders in and have the hood close , Paulafast said it earlier dont know how you (cut&paste )yet Split the sides and glassed the gaps....any way looking for solutions . Why would they make it too small ?is a fiberglass hood not as wide ?I will be calling them .Just to see what they say...

That's exactly how Milt's fit. I cut the top about a half inch in from the outside edge, all the way to the front of the nose at the point. The bottom about the same. I used a bolt dropped down into the cut to hold it open the propper amount while I glassed it up. That has to be hard to follow, I don't know how else to describe what was done.
