Has anyone seen a 1970 gto orbit orange with sandalwood interior(light tan)? If so does anyone have pics of one? I have only seen that color with black interior.

Default sandalwood

Yup. There was a super-megabuck restored one in HPP a few years back. It was tough.

I have seen one but they are quite rare as you said, most OO cars got black interiors. It was probably something like ten black to one sandlewood or tan.

One of our members here on the Forum, Lars1nyc has a beautiful 70 Orbit Orange Judge Vert with a Sandalwood interior. Pics posted below. Here is a link to the thread where these pictures and a great video were first posted.

Hey guys that saddle interior is code TR 255, sandlewood would be 257. Still, that car and combo are astoundingly stunning!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was going to clone anything that's a combo to consider. The finished product results in a jaw dropper!

Wase, Thats what I was thinking. I have a 1970 lemans convertible and love the orbit orange. But black interior would be very hot in the summer. I have a complete new sandalwood interior for the car and was trying to get some pics of how it would look with that color.

Oops!! My Bad. Still looks awesome IMO. Now, somebody post a picture of one with a
Saddle interior so I can see the difference.

Black hills thunder, what part of SD are you located? I've been to Sturgis with my Harley and had a blast riding the Black Hills, the Badlands, Custer National Park, Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, and of course - Sturgis. Awesome country out there. Must be almost as much fun in a GTO

OVERULD,
I am 10 miles west of rapid city off of nemo road right when you enter the black hills national forest back in the trees! i cannot tell you how much i love it out here, sturgis is a blast and i just finally got a bike a couple months ago, never had one before just drove up and walked around, we go up a couple days during bike week to take in the atmospere!!!!!!!!!! drink a few beers and go to some of the shows! they always have really good entertainers! there are alot of places around here that i think are great, spearfish is one of my favorite towns, to me i call this area un-contaminated and not overcrowded like colorado, another cool part is the car clubs are really active and always have a drive to somewhere like mt rushmore or deadwood and have shows in different towns, not to much for pontiac up here though, the normal chevy and ford guys and some mopar! have you been to the junkyard out by the buffalo chip outside of sturgis? you should check it out, ton of cars from the 30's to the 70's, alot of good cars out there yet, only a couple gto's but alot of lemans, bunch of the older catalina, bonneville, impala even a 64 bonneville tri-power conv with cruise and tilt wheel,8-lugs and all 100% complete car needing restored, saw several other cars with the 8 lugs on them yet. prices are reasonable on some things and through the roof on others. i cannot wait til the pontic show in july that will be a blast, hope to have the conv done for the show, but if not it will still be fun! next time you come up drop me a line and i will show you where the junkyard is if you do not already know, i always manage to find something i need when i go there!

Black Hills Thunder:
That sounds like a plan. I missed the junkyard but it sounds like I need to check it out next trip. We're planning another trip in the next year or two. We didn't make it to Spearfish last trip - just too many things to see and do out there and we only had a week. Thanks for the info and invite. I will definately look you up on the next trip.
