What's it worth?
Need some input on the value of a 1970 GTO Judge. It's a 4 speed, PDB,PS,Posi,Vinyl top Ram Air III non-matching engine, that will need a restoration. Any Ideas. Body has some rot, not sure on the trunk pans or floors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What's it worth?
Gold, Black top, saddle interior. Does not run at this time. has original trans and rears, and RA stuff is all there too.

Gold w/Black vinyl top would be VERY unusual. And a 4-speed car to boot.
Very cool |

I think they made three golds in 1970 but I might be wrong. Palomino Copper, Granada Gold, and Baja Gold. Of the three, I really like the Baja Gold color. The others are a little dark for my tastes but still nice.
I will throw a number out there just to answer your question. Assuming decent, restorable condition with most items present.....$15,000 to $18,000 ish. At this point, I think 30K to 35K is the minimum to restore a car. I think in today's market, you can get a nice car for $50 to 60K. Thus, the unrestored car needing a full restoration really cannot sell for much more than $15K to 18K (as you have described). |
