Jess-The 7.50 index class doesn't require a roll bar. Sounds like you could be very competitive. Maybe you can make it up for a couple of races to get dialed in before next season. We'll be head down to BMP for some tent and tune soon.
Mark-look forward to seeing you run on those new tires. Yes, I finally did get the new cab on the Catalina. Have taken for just a couple of short test drives but I am impressed so far. Let's see what it does at the track. Unfortunately I do not have any hood clearance with the Dominator sitting on a 2" adapter. So I am trying to jicky-jack some kind of temporary filter. I've pulled the hood off a 65 GP parts car and will probably try putting a hood scoop on it.
360Rocket: hope you make it - last time I saw you was when you snapped that half-shaft on that bad-ass Mustang at BMP.

Well, we're doomed. If P-Dude says he's racing then it is guaranteed we'll get rain !!
He's like that little guy in the old Lil Abner comics that always had a rain cloud over his head. Ken - see ya Thursday.
Mark-Colorado !! With the thin air !! You're F-Bird would not like breathing at those altitudes. Just think of the tail wind you could get in a hurricane down here.

Randy- my condolences for your grandmother's passing.

Yes, that was a VERY long night at BMP. Seemed like after every pass the track went down.

Did you get a flyer from the Olds Club for the BOPC show this year ? I would love to see your Trans-Am there. If you need the flyer, let me know.

Jim

Thanks for the condolences, she lived a full life of 85 years. I gotta say, after my fathers passing last October, I could see it in her eyes that she would soon follow. she outlived her entire family including her kids and my dad was the last straw for her. I hope to never outlive my kids.

Set me up with that please sir, I am interested. is that the show that Fernando Alvare puts on up at gainesville raceway? I am planning to attend the NSRA show in October at the fairgrounds too. Maybe the STARS show in Fort Walton Beach in November. Gotta find a trailer for that show and Gainesville too.

Randy - shoot me your mailing address and I'll send you a flyer. or try this link
http://www.oldsclubofflorida.com/
The show is Oct 25 and they've moved back up to Kissimmee after a couple of years in Plant City.
Fernando Alvere puts on the BOPC Race and Show in Gainesville in early December.
It's listed on the Gainesville schedule. We'll be taking the Catalina to that one for the races. Had a great time last year.

Jim

David - shoot me your mailing address and I'll send you a copy. It's one of the best shows of the year. Hope to see you there. The Olds Club does a good job of it.
Hope to be headed down your way for some TNT at Bradenton. Got the new carb on the Catalina plus I want to test it with another intake.

Jim

First goal is to get it to run 9's on pump gas without touching the CV-1 heads and intake.

My goal is 6 flat in the 1/8th and 9.40's in the 1/4, N/A, pump gas and a hyd roller, stock suspension. but gonna take a lotta time and money.......... oh and no more Oatmeal cookies.
