Stuart, Very good article!! I have that book & have preached the virtues often to Tempest owners for suspension upgrade handling. I have both of the rear sway bar setups. Empi & Huffman. The Huffman is a much better kit. I have dropped the transaxle assy. 3/4" & it really helped the handling.

I was thinking about this when Pete Gossett asked about ways to improve the handling of a Tempest (actually, I think he brought the question up over on the Grassroots Motorsports board) and I remembered the article. I happened to come across the magazine last night looking for something else, so I decided to scan it and post it.

By the way, anyone know what happened to the Little Indians website? I went over there to see if maybe they already had this article posted, but all their links are dead.

Basic GPa gave me this link in an email. I thought I would bring it back to the top to let others see it who might have missed it.

When I was 15, I was telling my friends my grandmother was giving me her 62 Lemans and the next day a friend brought me this article from his dad's old magazine collection and said that I was going to flip over my Lemans!! He said I needed to beef up my suspension to keep the car handling correctly. I offered to buy the magazine from him and he said that his dad didn't want to break up his collection. I have been searching for over 30 years for this article. I will also see about putting it on the Little Indians website for future reference too.

Thanks again Basic GPa and to Stuart for scanning this for us.

Where did you get those images? I would love to be able to post that on the Little Indians site.

I have the book. It is in my required readings list. If it will get posted up, I can send it to whoever does that.

You can copy the scans I posted above if you want. I did make them a little on the small side so they wouldn't take too long to load for people with slow connections.
