Default Pontiac tattoo

Anyone here have a pontiac related tattoo? I'm turning 35 next month and have been into Pontiacs since age 14. I'm thinking of getting the Pontiac arrowhead on my upper arm. It's about the only thing that will fit as skinny as I am. Any regrets getting yours?

Todd

No Pontiac tattoo, but I have regrets for the one I have. It destroyed my career as a fitness model.

But in the interest of covering up that one, I've thought about doing a 1st gen bird emblem, but doing a custom rendition of it, more lifelike, angular, and like it was cnc cut out of steel. Kinda like Judas Priest and Pontiac had a baby, and out came my tattoo design.

Chief Pontiac Indian Head with elongated Flying Headress ala 40's-50's style, on my left arm. appx 4" across..... I should photo I guess.....

I am done with tattoo's (five).... after 2 complete Interferon treatments (first 48 weeks, second 56 weeks) to rid myself of Hepatitis C, I won't chance anything that has even a microscopic chance of infection.

Know your tattoo parlor. It should LOOK medical, because it IS a medical type procedure. It should be very clean. Personnel should look professional, and quiz them on sterilization. Of course they will tell you all is good, but feel them out. It ALL is in the hands of the sterilizer how clean the instrument is. Yes, new needles every time, but there is more to it than that.

Fact is, people with AIDS and Hep C and other infectious diseases DO get tattoo's and it is purely relying on the sterilization and cleanliness of the parlor as to your health. All same is true for dental offices. Sad thing is that the sterlilizing duties are often given to the newbie, as it is a "lowly" duty......

i dont have any tattoos yet, was supposed to have went and got one awhile back, tho not a pontiac one.......i love my pontiac, but my hats off to ya guys getting pontiac tats.

on the other hand, if i was gonna go that far, id say a bit flashier version of the shirt from indian acres, i think py'er sirotica makes. it has an arrow with the pontiac arrowhead, indian lookin. you could even copy the part where its going thrue the bow tie emblem. with a tat you could add alot more detail than whats printed on a shirt and make it look good

I have never seen a tattoo on a male or female that I thought was in any way attractive. We see lots of them on people of all ages on the beach at Jax Beach. Most are just plain ugly or dumb looking. None qualify as fine art, unless you think graffiti belongs in the Louvre. Some are like really bad vanity license plates, you have to stare at them to try to understand the picture or message (and then you're left to wonder, why?). JMO.

And consider the consequences. I am not aware of anybody that failed to get a job (even in the NBA) or a date because he/she DIDN"T have a tattoo. I am positive there are people that didn't get something they wanted BECAUSE of a tattoo.

There is nothing sexier than bare skin. There is nothing less sexy than skin stained by ink. Again, JMO.

You can let the world know how much you love Pontiacs by driving one and wearing Pontiac themed T-Shirts.

But, hey, if a tattoo is what you want for your birthday, don't let me stop you!

Here's mine, it's a take off the Ford V8 symbol. Having ink is great, I have a couple and I am very happy with them(generally ignoring statements like the one above mine). Make sure you know what you want before you get it and go to a good place. If you walk in and don't see an autoclave(table top) leave fast and go somewhere else.

just be sure you DO want it...have a friend who got one on his leg many ,many years ago....after about 15 yrs he changed his mind and went thru surgery to remove it...

even though I myself considered tats over the years I never did get one....and I think it may be ok for guys to have 'some'....I have no clue to why most in NBA for instance have so many, because they can afford them = showing off ?.....or showing how tough they are?
when I see a cute girl and later realize she has one I always think "what a shame", because to me (my opinion only) it drastically lowers my opinion of her...

she IS pretty.....how DID you get her? lol

the problem might be that if/when I see her tats , she may look less pretty to me...just being honest.... what I cant figure out is why a pretty girl needs tats? when it doesnt enhance her looks... (imo)

I do know some people who think tats actually enhance the look of a person.

I think most people get them to rebel or make a point and that's what usually no longer applicable 15 years later.

Too each their own.
