Default I got a question.

i've got a 66 catalina and the back seat smells really bad, i was wondering if anyone knew how to get smells out of apolstry.

Dead mice could be in places you can't see. inside armrests, in sail panels in the trunk.
they can get into places you don't even know are there.

Must've been a date gone wrong then. Barhorst probably owned it at one time.


The Carbrite product will take race fuel out of carpet and I've used it for numerous other steches. I've been told it'll take the smell of death out of fabric also.

get some Lysol, use a sponge , rub it in extensively....let it dry

More like Nixon took it for a test drive with some of his past woodland creatures at some point before you owned it and "ripped and spewed" a few in the process, forever staining the cushions with his Sasquatch smelly ass funk. Replace the seats.

take them out and let them sit in the sun for a few days then apply the deoderant to them , sunlight helps kill the bacteria making the stench .

To most certain way to get rid of odors in seats is to remove all of the the covering material, beadblast and paint the springworks, and install new burlap, backing and shaping construction and covers.
