That is about all that is right with this car.
If the car is a true low mile car, then why would both quarters, both fenders, hood and core support need replaced? It makes me wonder if the drive line is what is listed. Looks like all the wrong parts are affecting the bid price. |

looks like it probably has 3 of the original JW wheels. Lots of changes as said above, it looks more like a car that has 137k miles than 37k to me too

I've seen alot of true low mileage cars that have been sitting under a tree or in a field for 20+ years, that warrants plenty of time for cars to rust and need replacement panels.

Agreed, these cares are basically 40 years old. Either you restore them with what parts are available or they sit and rot away. It's getting to the point that guys are going to complain about cars not having the original keys or air in the tires.

I was thinking that everyone has been very easy with the comments on this one. I wonder what NOS AIR would go for on E Bay

LOL.... That car dosen't have the gum wrapper the line worker dropped under back seat so it loses 25% of its value. I think thats a 5 point loss at the TA nationals.

Looks pretty good to me, transamric give us your take on this one....my 2 cents, its a 4 speed car with original motor, how many are left out there? Even though the TH400 cars are fewer in number, 1339, sure wish mine was a 4 speed!

i have always wandered what determined what shift knob some t/a's got compared to others. like this one has a black knob. some original cars i have owned had the knob like in the picture below. another example is on 76 t/a's some had the knob like the picture and then several 455 cars i have seen and owned had a white round ball knob. any ideas????

I talked to the guy yesterday, he bought the car out of Texas and said it was as is when he bought it. Good thing is rust free and orignal drivetrain. My interest is I have a automatic just like it and would be nice to have a 4 speed and automatic with both air.
