Default Looking for Pro-Touring 2nd Gen Pics

I am ready to start a full on Pro-Touring 2nd Gen TA. Anyone have any pics of one of these other than the YearOne BAN cars? I am looking for ideas to go with what I have already put together.

Any pics or site links that has these would be appreciated.

That site makes a lot of parts pertaining to the 2nd gen T/A as far as pro-touring. Also, www.pro-touring.com might be a place to check. They have a decent forum there as well.

Been there and he posts here and on TAC. Sells good stuff as far as I can tell. Not a ton of pictures though. I would like to find as many lowered, cars with 4 links, full on chassis treatment, etc. DSE has some pics more of the type I am looking for just not many TAs.

Trevor Jordan's 77 TA, made before the Year One was done.

Nothing on the car was left stock, very well done.

Thumbs up

Another fav--this is mostly for RACE but would love this as a Pro-Touring T/A [SD-Roger ]who is from Switzerland has got the Curb weight of this beast down to around 3000 lbs.

Here's my '76. I didn't go balls to the wall with 4 link or anything, but I did just about everything else. Rides and handles like a dream. Here's a link to my Major Upgrades Thread that goes into detail.

Here's my '77, I've got a big list to do to it over the winter but it's a good start. Hotchkis has a really nice '80 on their site with a video of it doing a slalom run.

Yeah I saw that video. I wish places like Hotchkis and DSE would make more parts for my '66 GTO, I want to put more aggressive suspension stuff on it but it seems like the parts are insanely expensive compared to when I had my '79 Firebird.

Any more info or links on that. Sweet looking car.

Definitely along the lines of what I want to do. Very nice car. I am going to put DSE mini-tubs in the rear so instead of moving the springs, I figured I'd just put a 4 link on it while I was already putting in a new rear.

Here is my car now...

Thinking of Honeycomb Billet's from Year One. I already ordred the door panels with aluminum inserts, aluminum dash panel for aftermarket air, new style package tray, etc. Will be smoothing out the firewall with a piece of stainless and going with Wilwood brakes and a hydroboost system, if I can get one that is show quality.

Front end will get the works and am considering putting a Year One 78 Nose on it. I am ordering one just in case.

Flush mounting the glass and maybe a new engine though I have two pretty well built 455s now. One with eHeads and the other with KRE D-Ports. I haven't even installed the second motor in anything yet.

Repaint the same color but have the graphics done by airbrush and then cleared in.

This is the car now...

Thanks for the compliment. However, it is time to take it to the next level. It has a couplf of small rust bubbles so it needs a repaint.

While I am at it, I figured I'd improve her just a bit.
