Default Rear shock recommendations

Hi all. I have a brand new set of AC Delco rear shocks in my 77 TA. The stance is great, but the rear feels really soft and spongy when going over dips in the road. The car is not a race car and I'm not looking for a hi tech drag shock. What can you guys recommend for a good quality shock that offers a nice stance, decent ride and good handling. A little stiff is ok too...it's a TA after all.

KYB Gas Adjust shocks are relatively inexpensive, decent quality, a bit harsh for my liking, but maybe just what you'd like.....

Check out the shocks at www.pro-touringf-body.com I just replaced the monroe sensatracs on back of my '75 with these set at the first click and like them so far. Not many miles on them yet, but they are definately firmer than the sensatracs.

Were they the Monroe sensatracs load adjustable with the coil over spring, or the regular sensatracs?

I was looking at the KYB's, but some of the other post I have read have turned me off of them. Most guys don't seem to like them.

BILSTEINS......

I'm going with those on my '73, I put them on my GMC truck and there was no comparison to the factory shocks that nearly bounced you off the road at hwy speeds when you hit bumps, tires stay on the road now with the Bilsteins and the ride is nice.
