Default 67 2+2 wheel covers w/15" wheels

What wheel covers were available on a 67 with 15" wheels The PHS only shows power brakes not disk brakes> The car has 8 lugs now but, will change it back once I find the correct stuff.

Thanks for any info.

There were two wheel covers available for the 15" wheel(P48) in 1967. One was a "DISC BRAKE" cover, which was only available as a 15" cover w/power disc brakes(J52). PDB required 15" wheels.

With the extra-cost 15" wheels bolted to manual drum brakes(std.), power drums(J50), HD power brakes(J51), or heavy-duty brakes w/aluminum front drums(J62), a specific 15" Deluxe wheel cover was offered.

I believe that the 15" wheels that were ordered without extra-cost wheel covers received the same standard hubcaps as the 14" wheels.

15" wheels were only required with J52 or J62 brakes.

The 2+2 received Deluxe wheel covers(P01) in either 14" or 15" versions as standard equipment. The 14" and 15" Deluxe wheel covers looked completely different from each other on the full-size line.

As a standard part of the 2+2 option, these covers would not be listed on your PHS documentation. If you do not have an optional wheel cover (either P02 or N95) or Integral Aluminum wheels(N79) listed on your PHS, you should have the Deluxe wheel covers with the appropriate diameter wheel.

Custom wheel covers(P02) or Wire wheel covers(N95) were not available in a 15" version.

The 15" non disc brake hubcaps that I have seen look almost like 63 Tempest hubcaps. My friend has a factory 4 speed 67 P conv w/15" wheels and that is what he has. I've also seen them on commercial vehicles like hearses and ambulances.

You can cheat (like I did with my 66 Safari) and use the 15" wire wheel covers that they used from 69-72(?) as they look just like the 14" wires that could have come with the car.

Didn't they also have the "dog dish" caps for those?

I think that 2+2's came standard with Deluxe wheel covers.
